Water quality

Water quality is measured monthly at locations around Lake Tyers, including:

• Upper catchment (Boggy Creek and Stony Creek)

• Cherry Tree

• Fisherman’s Landing;

• Nowa Nowa (Mingling Waters);

• Lake Tyers Aboriginal Trust.

Monitoring follows Waterwatch and EstuaryWatch protocols and includes measurements of temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen and conductivity (salinity). Visit the EstuaryWatch website to upload or view data.
